Pulau Indah Power Plant (PIPP) is a 1,200MV power plant in Pulau Indah, Selangor. It is a natural gas powered Combined Cycle Gas Turbine with an efficiency of more than 60%, much higher than its coal or oil equivalent. Once completed, it will be connected to the National Grid to support the increasing power demand in the Klang Valley, which accounts for 43% of total electricity demand in Peninsular Malaysia.
