The Star - BPMB Wins in Sustainable Financing

PETALING JAYA, 15 March 2023

Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Bhd (BPMB) won the “Special Merit Award for Sustainable Energy Financing for DFI and Others” at the recent National Energy Awards 2022.

The rewards, organised by the Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Ministry, recognised BPMB for its focused efforts in promoting sustainable energy financing.

As a development finance institution or DFI, BPMB Group chief executive officer Roni Abdul Wahab said in a statement that the group’s focus is to deliver impact capital to support the nation’s strategic and sustainable development.
