BPMB DONATES RM232,000 FOR DENTAL SIMULATORS AT USIM

BPMB recently showed our continuous support to education and healthy living by contributing RM232,000 to Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia’s (USIM) Dentistry Faculty. The contribution, from BPMB’s corporate zakat funds, was used to purchase four dental simulators.

Puan Noor Ain Mohd Amin, BPMB’s Group Head of Group Shariah Management (GSM) handed a mock check to Dr. Ainuddin Yushar Yusof, Dean, Faculty of Dentistry, USIM at the ‘Majlis Penyerahan Simulator Pergigian kepada Fakulti Pergigian USIM’ event which took place on 8 August 2023 at USIM’s Dentistry Faculty, Pandan Indah.

This generous contribution will significantly benefit the students in their pre-clinic phase, providing them with exposure to clinical practical training before they step into the actual clinic.

Moreover, the zakat contribution will have a broader positive impact on society since USIM’s Pandan Indah Campus functions as a teaching hospital, offering dental treatment at a minimal cost to the community. This support from BPMB will enhance not only the educational experience of the students, but also the quality of healthcare services provided by the university.
