Malaysia – Bank Pembangunan Malaysia, which offers Islamic finance solutions, has appointed Shaharuddin Zainuddin as its new President and Group CEO effective the 11th September 2017, the bank confirmed with IFN.

Shaharuddin was previously an independent director on the bank’s board and had served as the chairman of the Group Audit and Examination Committee as well as being a member of the Executive Committee, Group Risk Management Committee and the Credit Committee of the Board.
