Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad (BPMB) is a development financial institution (DFI) owned by the Malaysian Government through the Minister of Finance Inc. The Bank is mandated to provide medium to long term financing to capital-intensive industry, which include infrastructure projects, maritime, and high technology sectors.
 
In addition to the provision of financing, the Bank also made a number of strategic investments and amongst its subsidiaries are Bank Perusahaan Kecil dan Sederhana Malaysia Berhad (SME Bank), Global Maritime Ventures Berhad (GMV) and Pembangunan Leasing Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (PLC). 
With a combined asset value of more than RM27 billion, the Bank Pembangunan Group is well positioned to meet the financing and business development needs of Malaysian entrepreneurs in priority sectors from start-up to expansion.
